Remarque importante pour les auteurs et traducteurs de FDS: Les abréviations et acronymes repris dans cette liste proviennent de FDS et d'autres documents que nous avons traduits. Le seule but de ce glossaire est de faciliter l'interprétation des abréviations que vous pouvez rencontrer sur des fiches de sécurité et il ne constitue en aucun cas une recommandation d'usage. L'usage de certains acronymes est généralement accepté dans les FDS (p.ex. LC50, LEL), alors que d'autres sont plus obscures et peuvent ne pas être compris par tous les lecteurs (p.ex. UNK, n.o.s.). Nous recommandons d'utiliser uniquement des acronymes dont l'usage est bien établi.
